JSC Ukrtransgaz and RAG Austria AG signed a protocol on the transfer of RAG Austria’s equipment as an in-kind donation

The protocol establishes a list of equipment that Austrian partners can transfer to JSC Ukrtransgaz as an in-kind donation to expand the company's emergency equipment stock. 

The protocol was signed by a CEO of JSC Ukrtransgaz Roman Maliutin, and a CEO of RAG Austria AG, Markus Mitteregger. 

Moreover, during the meeting, representatives of RAG Austria AG and JSC Ukrtransgaz discussed the geological potential of Ukraine for storing H2 in depleted oil and gas deposits, as well as prospective areas of cooperation in storing green gases in underground gas storages. 

“RAG Austria AG is the largest storage system operator in Austria and has unique experience in green gas storage. Experience exchange will help us introduce the latest technologies into the technological chain. We are grateful to our Austrian colleagues for their in-kind donation, which is extremely necessary for expanding our stock and responding to the emergencies,” said Roman Maliutin, a CEO of Ukrtransgaz JSC. 

Markus Mitteregger, a CEO of RAG Austria AG, noted, “We are happy to help Ukrainian partners with the equipment, as well as exchange experience with colleagues from Ukraine, because, through joint developments, we can find the best solutions for the development of our industry.” 

Signing of the protocol was preceded by a series of meetings with representatives of RAG Austria AG and processing of the equipment list by technical experts of JSC Ukrtransgaz.
