Ukrtransgaz has launched the near border gas metering station (GMS) into the commercial operation after a major reconstruction. Thus, another upgraded GTS facility is in the full-operation mode in preparation for the 2019/2020 heating season.

During the first month of the operation of the Gas TSO LLC as an independent company, separated on July 1, 2019, people organization structure was formed, own business process were integrated, technical regulation was developed, and the work on the technical program for 2020 had started.

In July, one of the key players in the European gas market, the German gas trading company RWE, first used the customs warehouse gas storage service in Ukraine.

In August, the volume of the natural gas stored by the non-resident companies in "customs warehouse" regime at the Ukrainian underground gas storages increased by 71% compared to mid-June and reached nearly 1.4 billion cubic meters.

Ukrtransgaz has entered into an Agreement on settlement of mutual obligations with Axpo Ukraine LLC for the amount of UAH 293.7 million.

JSC Ukrtransgaz and Eru Trading LLC fully have settled mutual obligations. The Company had paid to the gas supplier UAH 1.47 bln debt due to the Agreement on debt restructuring for fuel gas actually supplied for operational process.

Michal Lalik, a representative of the neighboring Eustream, has joined the team of experts from European gas transport companies helping to build an independent GTS Operator in Ukraine.

Since the July 1, the technical function of the gas transmission system was transferred from the Ukrtrasgaz JSC to the GAS TSO LLC, 100% ownership of Ukrtrasgaz JSC.

Due to the fund shortage, Ukrtransgaz is unable to pay on time on contracts for gas procurement for its production and technological needs. The Company has accumulated UAH 4.1 bln debt to suppliers for the fuel gas purchase during the March-April.

Ukrtransgaz has sent an offer to the Moldovan government in connection with the delayed construction of the Romania-Moldova interconnector, which puts Moldova dependent on new contract negotiations with Gazprom.
