Since the start of the season, 24 international companies have already signed storage contracts and now injected about 515 mln cubic meters of gas into underground gas storage facilities in Ukraine.

The next stage of the Ukrainian gas transmission system unbundling is begun starting from June 1.

The Consortium of the European gas companies has delegated the representatives that would support the unbundling process of the Ukrainian TSO and interested in further involvement of the Ukrainian GTS operation.

The relevant agreements have been signed between Ukrtransgaz JSC and FGSZ LTD, and will come into force on 30 May 2019. In line with these changes, the total capacity at the point of GMS "Beregadorets" will increase from 17.1 to 19.5 mln cubic meters per day.

Ukrtransgaz offers European gas suppliers to use the free capacities of Ukrainian storages in order to create the necessary additional gas reserves in order to guarantee uninterrupted gas supply to Hungarian consumers, as well as to avoid potential threats to the energy security of the EU countries during the autumn-winter period 201

Today the Information platform of the gas transmission system Operator of Ukraine started to work in a regular mode and Ukrainian gas market has completely switched to a daily balancing regime.

The next phase included in the Roadmap of the unbundling of the transmission system operator (TSO) was successfully completed - the new company is registered under the name “Gas transmission system operator of Ukraine”.

Ukrtransgaz has accomplished external supervisory audit for the quality, environmental, energy efficiency and safety management under the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 50001:2011.

The newly created branch "System Storage Operator of Ukraine" announces the successful completion of the employees and necessary assets transfer to it. This step finalizes the next stage of the TSO unbundling.
