Ukrtransgaz has received another powerful generator from the USAID

Ukrtransgaz, the Storage System Operator of Ukraine, has received a 75-kW generator as part of an energy security project funded by the United States Agency for International Development.

During the autumn and winter period, massive rocket attacks often resulted in rolling power outages, so we must be prepared for any circumstances to ensure the smooth operation of our underground storages and maintain the sustainability of business processes in the future. I am grateful to our international partners for another strengthening of the energy infrastructure and a reliable shoulder of support in this difficult time,” said Roman Maliutin, Acting General Director of Ukrtransgaz.

The generators are started automatically in the event of a power outage and ensure the operation of critical infrastructure, which is extremely important for maintaining the security of gas supplies and its storage in UGS.
