Ukraine is ready to become a full-fledged partner and strengthen the energy security of Europe and the world

The Ukrtransgaz delegation participated in the ReBuild Ukraine conference, a platform for key stakeholders in the energy market. The event was initiated by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

“This year, we injected more than 2.5 bcm of non-resident traders into our storages and the portfolio of companies using our UGS grew by 18%. Despite the military challenges, the Ukrtransgaz team managed to convince a lot of new traders to inject gas into our UGS. As a company, we fulfill all our obligations to our service customers. This once again proves our reliability”, - said Roman Maliutin, Acting General Director of Ukrtransgaz. 

In addition to our core business, we see the perspective in development of such areas as decarbonization, hydrogen and biomethane storage, and CCUS.

Currently, we see that the EU storages are almost 100% full.  This re-directs the demand of non-resident companies for gas storage capacities to Ukraine’s UGS. Ukrtransgaz has enough redundant capacities to store more than 10 bcm of gas for non-residents. Storage tariffs remain among the most attractive and will not be changed until April 1, 2025.
