Ukrtransgaz JSC completed Q3 2019 with a record volume of capital expenditures to the Ukrainian gas transmission system

October 25, 2019, Kyiv - For the nine months of 2019, JSC Ukrtransgaz invested UAH 3.988 billion (excluding VAT) in ensuring the reliable operation of the gas transmission system of Ukraine. It is 26% more than in the same period of the last year and the highest amount in the previous six years.

Ukrtransgaz capital expenditures for the three quarters of the current year amounted to UAH 1.362 billion, implementation of the program of ongoing repairs, and system maintenance - UAH 2.136 billion.

Among the most valuable projects of the year are the reconstruction of compressor station Bar, the modernization of the compressor station Grebinkivska, the repair of gas odorisation systems at gas distribution stations, the reconstruction of the automatic control systems for gas pumping units at the compressor stations Dolyna and Uzhgorod, technical re-equipment and reconstruction of the power supply systems at the booster compressor station Ugersko, compressor stations Berdychiv and the Lubny.

In recent years, the financing of the modernization and technical support production programs of the GTS has been significantly increased, which makes it feasible to extend for a decade the reliable operation of the gas transportation infrastructure of Ukrtransgaz and to guarantee stable transportation and transit of gas to both Ukrainian and European consumers.
