Ukrtransgaz dispatching moved to The Gas TSO of Ukraine
October 1st 2019, Kyiv – Central physical and commercial dispatching that coordinates to the activity of GTS of Ukraine was moved to the premises at the following address: Kyiv city, Kosmonavta Komarova Street, 44, where the management headquarters of LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine is currently located. The transfer was carried out according to the Resolution of CMU № 840 «On unbundling of the natural gas transmission system and provision of the activity of gas transmission system Operator» with the purpose of preparation for autonomous operation of LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine from January 1st 2020.
Currently, all human resources, production, and information resources of the physical and commercial dispatching are concentrated in a single perimeter. The setup and testing of all necessary technical and business processes will be completed by November 1st, and the conclusion of contracts with the customers of the Gas TSO of Ukraine, which will come into force from January 1st following year, will be completed.
JSC Ukrtransgaz dispatching complex is a modern informational and technical support, which in real-time monitors technological processes and performs automatic data collection from the industrial sites of the gas transportation company. In this way, the operational dispatching management of Ukrainian branched gas transmission system, with a pipeline length approximately 38 thousand km, 73 compressor stations, more than 1400 gas distribution stations, ensures the transportation of around 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the Ukrainian consumers. Annually, it transits about 90 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia to the EU.
At the same time, we remind that the function of physical and commercial dispatching will remain under JSC Ukrtransgaz until December 31st, 2019, which is connected to the necessity to perform ongoing transit contract between NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and PJSC Gazprom.
