Does the rule that stored gas has to be custom cleared still valid?
No, you may store gas in a transit mode. But if you want to use it as a security stock, than it should be custom cleared.
How do the nominations work at VTP?

What are financial obligations of the Network User doing business on the territory of Ukraine, especially concerning obligatory reserves for Storing Network Users?
Financial guarantee of 20% of its total monthly nomination is required. For example, if you plan to import and sell on VTP 10 mcm in one month, it’s required that you provide a financial guarantee on 2 mcm. It may be a bank guarantee or gas in storage.
Which metric system is used in the process of capacity allocation?
UTG receives allocation report at IP from the adjacent system operator, where the following data for Shipper Pairs is specified:
- daily allocation in kWh;
- daily allocation in m3;
- daily GCV
Allocation for each Shipper Pair is in m3 on Ukrtransgaz’s side, while allocation for Shipper Pair from adjacent system operator’s side is in kWh.
