Roman Maliutin

Acting General Director of Ukrtransgaz – the Storage System Operator of Ukraine


Roman Maliutin has more than 20-year experience in gas transportation and storage companies. He worked all his way up from an operator and engineer at the Kehychivske underground gas storage facility to a Chief Engineer of Kharkivtransgaz and a Deputy Chief Engineer for the Eastern Region of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine. 
During the last year and a half, he led the Technical Department of JSC Ukrtransgaz. He headed the areas of operation of compressor stations, energy, metrology, automation, corrosion protection and motor vehicles. He supported projects on the development of low-carbon technologies, storage of hydrogen mixtures, development of green energy elements, energy saving and reduction of hazardous emissions. 
He graduated from Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas with a degree in Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields (qualification – Mining Engineer).
