Now UGS clients can declare gas at «Custom Warehouse» online

Since September 1, 2020, customers of the Storage System Operator of Ukraine will be able to order online services of declaration of natural gas moving across Ukraine’s custom border for storage in «Customs Warehouse» regime. The corresponding functionality appeared in the customer’s cabinet of the SSO’s Information Platform. Therefore, the process of ordering the declaration services has been simplified and has become the same for all market participants.

As of September 1, 2020 there are 8 bcm of gas in Ukrainian underground storage facilities, 7.7 of them belongs to foreign suppliers. The operator of Ukrainian UGS increases the level of customer service and, for his part, does everything possible to ensure the continuity of injection process and subsequent gas withdrawal from UGS.

“This year is a record year for Ukrainian underground storage facilities for years of independence for many indicators. Almost 800 Ukrainian and foreign clients are interested in our services. Unfortunately, we are limited technically. Nowadays Ukrainian UGS work at maximum possibilities – more than 100 mcm of natural gas are daily pumped. However, we do everything necessary to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and automate the process of interaction between the company and suppliers. Transferring of the gas declaration process in the «Custom Warehouse» regime – only one of such examples”, - noted Sergiy Pereloma, acting general director of Ukrtransgaz JSC.
