Ukrtransgaz stored 515 mln cubic meters of natural gas in the "customs warehouse" regime since the April 2019

June 11, 2019, Kyiv – Since the start of the season, 24 international companies have already signed storage contracts and now injected about 515 mln cubic meters of gas into underground gas storage facilities in Ukraine.

Following two years of preparatory work, Ukrtransgaz JSС launched an active offering of the "custom warehouse" regime service in Ukrainian UGSs to the non-residents. In June, Ukrtransgaz expects the same level of dynamic after the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission will approve short-haul tariffs.

Today both resident and non-resident companies have the opportunity to store gas on the territory of Ukraine for 1095 days without paying customs duties only on condition it will be transported out of the area of Ukraine. The tariff for storage in the "customs warehouse" does not vary from the regular gas storage tariff in the UGSs that is about 0.6 euro/W.
