Ukrtransgaz confirmed its compliance with four international standards – quality, environmental, safety and energy efficiency management
January 30, 2019, Kyiv – Ukrtransgaz has accomplished external supervisory audit for the quality, environmental, energy efficiency and safety management under the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 50001:2011. Representatives of the international certification authority «TÜV SÜD» (Germany) in Ukraine approved the certification after an audit of the Ukrtransgas` facilities in January 2019.
There are no notable inconsistencies detected in the functioning of Ukrtransgaz's management systems.
The auditors noted the general positive tendency in the development of management systems. In particular, among the positive characteristics of Ukrtransgaz are professional employees, strict discipline and high culture of production, an existing system of trainings of fire safety and actions in emergencies, high level of formalization and delivery of information about industrial safety, fire safety, environment and social security, and a modern system of document circulation.
The auditors also identified four minor inconsistencies and provided 17 recommendations for improving the integrated management system.

Thus, the auditors confirmed that Ukrtransgaz is a reliable partner and provides a safe and energy-efficient operation of the gas transmission system of Ukraine.
Ukrtransgaz has been working on the development, implementation, and certification of the management systems in compliance with the international standards since 2003. Starting from that time the company uses a Quality Management System in accordance with State Standard ISO 9001:2001, which has been extended since 2010 according to State Standard ISO 9001:2009. Since 2006, the company also operates the Environmental Management System according to the State Standard ISO 14001:2006. In addition, in 2012 Ukrtransgaz already was certified by the German assessment authority TUV Rheinland Cert for Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2004) and Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSAS 18001:2007), and since 2014 is by the Energy Management System (ISO 50001:2011).
