The state of emergency in Chernihiv region does not affect the gas transit through the territory of Ukraine
October 09, 2018, Kyiv – Emergency state declared due to fire and explosions hit the Ukrainian Defence Ministry ammunition depot near the village Druzhba in the Ichnyansky district of Chernihiv region does not affect the gas transit through the territory of Ukraine, the Department of Corporate Communications states.
In the 30-kilometer zone from the place of the fire, where the airspace is closed now, there are no main gas transit pipelines of Ukrtransgaz.
As of 11.00 a.m., the gas transportation system works in regular mode. Additional monitoring posts at the objects of the gas transportation infrastructure in the region are organized to monitor the development of the emergency state.
