Cooperation with EIB

The European Investment Bank (EIB) was founded in 1957. The shareholders of the EIB are now 28 EU member-states. The European Investment Bank does not only provide loans, but also acts as one of the largest borrowers on international financial markets. This is not prohibited by the bank’s chapter, the EIB can attract loans to favorable conditions and, accordingly, offer loans at the lowest rates. The bank has the highest financial rating ААА.

 

Cooperation with EIB

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 22, 2014, №1143-p the Finance Contract was signed between Ukraine and the EIB and the Project Agreement between UKRTRANSGAZ PJSC and the EIB to implement the Project “Reconstruction, capital repairs and technical re-equipping of the main gas pipeline Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod” dated December 1, 2014.

 

On August 16, 2015 this Finance Contract was ratified by the Law of Ukraine dated July 15, 2015 № 603-VIII. 

 

The loan amount, terms of borrowing:

The Loan amount: up to EUR 150.00 million
Borrowing: EUR in floating interest rate EURIBOR + spread, the front-end commission of 50 thousand EUR. The total loan repayment period is 19 years, including the grace period of 5 years.
